Tumbling into the last few games of the Premier League. There is still no outright sign on who will grab the Champions League places. Chelsea, Leicester, and Man United are hunting for the 3rd and 4th spots. The battle for avoiding relegation is still alive. Norwich is the first side to be officially relegated from the Premier League. Aston Villa and Bournemouth are the other teams in relegation but both sides have three games to try and fix that.
Chelsea vs Norwich City, 14th June, 2.15 p.m.
Norwich City got officially relegated after a 4-0 defeat to West Ham. It did not come as much of a surprise as “the Canaries” looked likely to be relegated since December. The benefit that the bottom side have now is that there is nothing to lose. The players will just go out to play and enjoy football which has reaped some good results from time to time.
Chelsea looks like a side that will grab a top-four spot. The sides they face after Norwich are Liverpool and Wolves. Having two tough games to finish out the season can make a top-four finish more difficult. Especially after the shock 3-0 defeat, they suffered against Sheffield United.
A Chelsea win looks certain here but at (-910) it’s not worth it. Norwich to win is (+2400) which would be worth a small bet seeing as the pressure has been lifted from the side. However, it is a safe option to take Norwich at (+2.25) at (+104) at Canplay.
Manchester City vs Bournemouth, 15th June, 12 p.m.
Man City are sitting in second place in the Premier League table and they are not going anywhere. On the other hand, Bournemouth is sitting in 18th place. Meaning if they cannot get a win here then they are likely going back down to the Championship. Bournemouth is three points from safety behind Watford.
Man City have scored 22 goals in their last 7 matches. Their last two wins were back to back 5-0 victories. Even though there is nothing to play for the team has displayed the quality on offer. Beating Man City is still a large task for any Premier League team. As a result, Bournemouth will need to come out attacking.
The hosts are (-635) to win. Looking at their form they have been hot and cold. Losing 1-0 to Southampton and 2-1 to Chelsea. Bournemouth are (+1475) at come away with the win. The side must throw everything at City which may pay off. Take both teams to score at (-110) here at Canplay.
Arsenal vs Liverpool, 15th June, 2.15 p.m.
Liverpool is seven points from 100. They need to get at least two wins from the last three to have a chance of joining the centurion club. The “Reds” form since the restart has not hit the heights from earlier in the season. They drew to Burnley in their last game and might be lacking the drive from before the break.
Arsenal has had a very disappointing season. They are currently in 9th and not looking likely to climb too many places. A late Toby Alderweireld strike sealed a 2-1 win for Tottenham over the “Gunners” in their last match. Arteta’s side is still under pressure for some good results.
Liverpool is the obvious favorites for this at (-120) to win. Whereas the “Gunners” are (+300) to win. For the game to end in a draw it is (+305). Arsenal is desperate for a win here to try and move up any spots on the table. Take the home side to grab a win here at Canplay.
