Who to Bet on?
It is extremely tricky on who to bet on when it comes down to player competitions. Due to the fact that these professional players usually play the game privately their skill level is pretty much next to unknown. That is the current benefit of putting a bet on these types of esport events. The air on unpredictability can aid customers when placing a bet as the sportsbooks will not have any extra knowledge on team/player quality.
As the series of weekly matches progress and results come out the betting odds will flatten. It is better to get on the action early. In other professional sports that have run similar events, normally a handful of players seem to be avid and competitive gamers while others prefer to play more casual. Anyone who can pick out one of the more competitive gamers in the tournament early on has the potential to make some nice bank.
