Some of the big games during the week are Manchester United taking on Sheffield United in a battle for European spots. Manchester United vs Sheffield United
Wednesday 24th June, 12 p.m.
One of the major matches for the fourth spot. Man United are currently sitting 5 points off Chelsea in fourth. Sheffield United are in eighth place but are just 7 points from fourth place. The Blades will be pushing for a European place. They got beaten 3-0 by Newcastle in a poor display by the side. John Egan saw a red card five minutes into the second half. Just five minutes later a shocking defensive blunder saw Saint-Maximin open the scoring.
Sheffield United will be out for a win after losing out on 3 points against Aston Villa due to controversy with VAR and their defeat to Newcastle. Man United recently drew against Tottenham Hotspur. The 1-1 game included a blunder by the goalkeeper and a penalty scored by Bruno Fernandes. Man United were the better team during the game with fans happy to see Paul Pogba back in action. However, they were not clinical in front of goal and that is all that counts.
Marcus Rashford is (+275) to score first and (+100) anytime. Bruno Fernandes is (+200) to score during the match. Lys Mousset is (+900) to score first in the game. Man United are (-240) to win the match while Sheffield United are (+750) to win. Take Man United here at Canplay.
Southampton vs Arsenal
Thursday 25th June, 12 p.m.
The return for Arsenal has not been what they would have expected. Losing both their games to Man City and Brighton. The Gunners are missing Leno who got injured in their last game. David Luiz is still suspended while Granit Xhaka is still injured. Southampton on the other hand won their last game 3-0 against Norwich.
Arsenal are missing a few players and have a tight run of games. The side is playing Sheffield United on Sunday in the F.A Cup. This could be their only hope at a European place. They may opt to save their players for that. Arsenal have also extended some contracts including loanees like Dani Ceballos and permanent players like David Luiz.
Danny Ings is the favorite to score the first goal at (+280) while Aubameyang is (+320). Although there is not much difference in the odds the home side is the slight favorite. Southampton is (+160) for the win while Arsenal is (+170). The better option for this match is the draw at (+250) at Canplay.
Chelsea vs Manchester City
Thursday 25th June, 2.15 p.m.
Chelsea won their last match against Aston Villa. The London side will be eager to keep their place in the top four. They are just three points behind Leicester and five points above Manchester United. If Chelsea win and other results go their way a top-four place will be almost guaranteed. On the other hand, Man City have won both their games since returning. City dispatched Arsenal 3-0 and Brighton 5-0.
Man City will be without Sergio Aguero who will undergo knee surgery. The star striker is going to miss the rest of the season and will have plenty of time to recover. This will give Gabriel Jesus the rest of the season to display his quality. The new five substitution rule benefits Man City as they have tremendous strength in the depth of their squad.
Gabriel Jesus is (+350) to score first while Sterling is (+500). Tammy Abraham is the favorite for Chelsea to open the scoring at (+550). Chelsea is (+315) to win the game at Stamford Bridge. Man City are still the better side and are expected to win. Back them at Canplay at (-125).
