Well, last week’s Conference Finals didn’t exactly go as forecasted.
The Seattle Sounders shocked LAFC in the Banc of California Stadium thanks to a two-goal salvo from Raul Ruidiaz. While in the Eastern Conference, Toronto also won away from home. Greg Vanney’s side beat last year’s MLS Cup winners, Atlanta United, in a stoic defensive performances.
That result means we will have a repeat of the 2016 and 2017 MLS Cup Finals with Seattle hosting Toronto on Sunday afternoon. This will be somewhat of a decider between the two. The Sounders were victorious in 2016 while Toronto got revenge in the 2017 final.
Seattle’s home advantage has influenced the betting and they are strong favourites, listed at -110 with CanPlay.
